We made a train from boxes based on a craft project in Chirp magazine. If you enjoy this type of project, you might also like the Wheels project we did for Chirp. Here's how we made it.

We are delighted to announce the release of a Windy mini-story for Chirp Magazine called In the Clouds. We had a lot of fun making white pom pom clouds for this story.

Pom Poms on the Street

Thanks to everyone who came out to make crafts with us at Word on the Street this Sunday. We made pom pom characters. Here is a gallery of some of the great pom pom characters from the workshop. We'll be putting up directions on how to make your own pom pom character next weekend as our rainy day project, so check back soon.

Chirp outtakes (wheel painting)

Last May we made a story about wheels for Chirp magazine. We tried all sorts of wheels and cars, but we only had room for a few of our vehicles in the story. Some of the tests we did were quite funny. Our favourite one is probably the cherry-tomato-tin-can car. The tape-dispenser-jalopy and the bananamobile are quite funny, too. What would you use to make wheels?
